Program Meeting - Sashiko Make & Take

Dee Lord will teach Sashiko embroidery. Sashiko is a form of Japanese folk embroidery that uses the basic running stitch to create a patterned background. The geometric patterns include straight or curved lines of stitching arranged in a repeating pattern. The Japanese work Sashiko means “little stabs” and refers to the small stitches used in this form of needlework. Please bring small scissors (for cutting thread) and a wide eye sharp needle. All other supplies will be provided.
