Bobbie Mowery will be sharing a wonderful, new (to some of us) art! A class on the 'Folded Kimono', a fun and pretty block. If anyone would like to make these at the meeting workshop, they will need two pieces of fabric: Main piece should be 7 1/2 in by 21 in Lining (which can be contrasting or not - I think it looks better with contrasting) should be 7-3/4 in by 21 in. If someone is using directional fabric, the fabric should be cut with the directional running up and down (I mean, cut it so when you hold it up by the short end, it is running that way. It would also be helpful if people would sew along the long ends of the fabric matching the sides. NOTE: one piece is a little wider than the other, this will be an edge that shows on the side.
